Wisconsin protester WIN!

I'm having trouble figuring it out: are Scott Walker, Chris Christie, John Kasich and their Dominionist and teabagger confederates Republic-serial Hosni Mubarak wannabees, or are they Republic-serial Silvio Berlusconi wannabees? Walker tricks the firefighter and police unions into supporting his gubernatorial run, and then once in office, he tries to screw them along with the other civil servants. The firefighters didn't buy it:

Time and Again (15-1)

LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Championship: Defeated Connor's Crushers, 107-78
Most Valuable Player: Le'Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Domination: In helping me roll to my first league title, the Timers averaged 113 points over 16 games -- and almost 135 over the last six weeks. They were so deep at all positions, Zac Stacy sat on the bench for the championship-game victory.

That depth helps explain why LeSean McCoy -- the Timers' best player -- wasn't the Timers' most valuable player. The full explanation deserves a blog post.

League runners-up
Championship: Lost to (1)rhino1573, 105-79
Most Valuable Player: Matt Forte, RB, Chicago So close: The Kittehs' championship hopes faltered early, as Peyton Manning, Jamaal Charles and DeMarco Murray combined for 75 points for the Rhinos. Philadelphia then put paid the the Cats' chances, as their early 21-0 lead prevented Forte from contributing to a response.

Still, the Kittehs enjoyed their best season, using a Foles-Cam Newton platoon to overcome season-long weaknesses at wide receiver. Marshawn Lynch, the Seattle defense and a strong tight-end corps helped, as the Cats, their league's highest-scoring team, won five straight en route to the final.
